  • Yuka Shimada, trailblazing Head of HR & Board Director at Unilever Japan and leading light in the field of women’s leadership in Japan. Yuka graduated from Keio University, and holds an M.A in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University Graduate School in NY
  • Naoshi Takatsu, Managing Partner for Japan & North East Asia of world-renowned Swiss-based executive business school IMD, with former experience at Recruit and The Boston Consulting Group. Naoshi holds a BA in Political Sciences from Waseda University and an MBA from INSEAD
  • Chad Stewart, Associate Director of HR in Asia & Oceania for leading Japanese pharmaceutical company Astellas Pharma Inc.

Our panelists will analyse trends in leadership development, and discuss how they may evolve. They will share their personal experiences and expertise as well as talking about the challenges facing their respective organisations and the strategies employed to tackle them.

Moderated by Tove Kinooka of Global Perspectives KK, a consultancy that specializes in developing global human resources. This discussion will explore the topic from three very different angles – that of a British company operating in Japan (Unilever), a Japanese company operating globally (Astellas), and an international executive business school that attracts and develops leaders from diverse industries worldwide.
