Who is your 2015 Person of the Year?

Oct. 5, 2015

The deadline for nominations for the 2015 British Business Awards is fast approaching. Don't miss the opportunity to nominate yourself, or a deserving individual you know, as 2015 Person of the Year.

Last year's winner of the Person of the Year Award was Sue Kinoshita, then Director of UK Trade & Investment in Japan. She explained how the award, which was decided by a BCCJ member vote, meant recognition for the hard work of her team at the British Embassy Tokyo as well as for her work supporting UK business in Japan, and leading on the Overseas Business Network Initiative collaboration between the BCCJ and UKTI.

The OBNI collaboration means the BCCJ is working closely with the British Embassy Tokyo on supporting UK business interests ahead of Tokyo 2020 and the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

Sue said: "I was delighted to receive the award firstly because of the recognition it provides for my team but also I was really pleased because I think this whole Overseas Business Network Initiative and the collaboration with the embassy on global sporting events is a really good indication of just how ambitious the BCCJ is and what great vision they’ve got for the future."
