About the BCCJ
Established in 1948, the British Chamber of Commerce in Japan (BCCJ, 在日英国商業会議所) is an exceptionally active and ever-expanding not-for-profit private membership organisation serving over 900 high-calibre members via nine communications channels.
Open to members of all nationalities, we offer high-value events, productive networking and promotional opportunities, valuable information services, and access to influential institutions and individuals.
Joining the BCCJ means joining an 900-strong network of professionals with a shared interest in promoting UK and Japan business relations. Membership also allows access to the British Embassy and key policy makers in Japan, as well as visiting dignitaries from business, government, political and royal circles. It provides opportunities to engage at senior level with UK and Japanese executives. And it offers a full calendar featuring high-calibre guest speakers and high-value social events.
We welcome members of all nationalities. Our five membership categories provide a range of options to suit every eligible company and individual in Japan. Non-resident members are also welcome.
